8hr delay for a 1hr45min flight
The heading says it all. I was given a miserly 100RMB as compensation despite complaining non-stop in Mandarin for 5hrs (maybe that's why I didn't get more), then slipped another 100RMB not to make a scene - which I duly proceeded to do. It seems missing an 'important business meeting' doesn't get you much more either. Some psuedo mafia boss come property developer drove me home on very icey roads, on the way picking up his significantly younger than him bit on the side. Just waiting in the net bar now for my flat to heat up.
Urghhh.

Was just wondering when you're back to the UK? I'm off to Rio for the Carnival next week (jealous?) but I was hoping to see you when you get back, before you start work and lose all your rights to free time in the evenings!
Hope all is well, have been following your progress on here, apologies for the lack of emails.
BTW Series 5 of '24' is amazing... I'm downloading it, so will make you copies when you get back!
